Collective Concepts celebrates 10 years of moments, magic and memories
Christchurch based boutique event management and marketing company, Collective Concepts, is celebrating ten years of creating moments, magic and memories this month.
Collective Concepts was founded by Kate Blundell in 2008, with the vision of working with the best suppliers in the industry to achieve each clients’ unique requirements – as a collective, with each supplier delivering their own piece of the puzzle, to bring the clients’ concept to life.
Originally a Northland based company, Collective Concepts was relocated to Kate’s home city, Christchurch, in mid 2013 to continue expansion. Today Collective Concepts produces events and campaigns all over New Zealand for a broad range of local and offshore clients.
“Our network of clients, suppliers, and contractors has evolved immensely over the last ten years,” says Kate. “I believe that our focus on producing quality, unique, and memorable events and campaigns, without forgetting about the personal touch, has been the key driver of Collective Concepts ongoing success and repeat clientele. I am really proud of what we have been able to achieve for our clients, our suppliers, and Collective Concepts over this time.”
Alongside key suppliers, Collective Concepts has also been supported by a number of talented staff and contractors over the last ten years. The training and development of future hospitality professionals has always been front and centre within the business, and Collective Concepts continues to work with a number of training establishments to provide work opportunities and professional development for the future stars of the industry.
“I have had such an exciting career in events, hospitality and tourism to date, so I am passionate about sharing these experiences and developing individuals for their own successful careers in the industry,” continues Kate.
With only a third of start-ups reaching the ten year milestone, Collective Concepts is mindful that such an achievement would not be possible without the support of its clients, and would like to take this opportunity to thank all past and present clients for the opportunity to turn their ideas into reality, while having a lot of fun doing it.
