For the 10th year in a row, Collective Concepts worked alongside NZ Chambers of Commerce Northland to deliver their annual celebration of Northland Business. This year it seemed only fitting to evolve the Business Excellence Awards into a one-off celebration of Northland Business Champions.
Northland Business Champions are businesses and business people who have shown leadership, adapted and thrived during incredibly tough times with the Northland wide drought and pressures from the COVID-19 crisis. It is widely recognised that adversity brings innovation, resilience and most importantly cements relationships and the way we approach business.
Over 2500 individual nominations were received for 244 Northland businesses and individuals across five business categories and eight specialist categories. Finalists were selected based on the number of nominations, and then an independent panel of judges had the difficult task of choosing the category winners and the ultimate Westpac Northland Business Champion – Supreme Leadership winner.
Alongside developing the concept and delivering the celebration event, Collective Concepts was also contracted to create and deliver the media plan, PR and digital marketing for this event as well as managing the sponsors’ benefits.
